  30. You are right, thanks for the tip! Did not know that there is a proxy
  31. program for the amiga so you can make your own local proxy server.

  33. Now my problem: I have started httpproxy with the following options after
  34. the startnet script has run:

  36. run amitcp:bin/httpproxy cache eh0:tmp del 5184000 expire 604800 log eh0:uue/Spool/httpproxy.log get unread

  38. In AWeb I have configured the proxy to:

  40. http://localhost/8080

  42. When I try to select a page, I get "Cannot connect to localhost".
  43. I have tried like in mentioned in the Guide to ping localhost (works
  44. fine) and to letnet to httpproxy (works fine as well). Also the
  45. inet.access file has
  46. *      *.*.*.*     allow    LOG
  47.  
  48. set (which is correctly shown in the log when I letnet to httpproxy),
  49. so it should work. I'm connectet to the Internet using slirp btw.
  50. (So far no problems with that, AWeb, ncftp, telnet etc. all worked fine)
